Editing Workshop

The reality of photography is that after snapping that killer photo, you’re really only 50% of the way there. So where do you even start with the whole editing process? There are so many different types of software and myriad possibilities for post-processing, it can all become rather overwhelming. Well fear not; I have gone through that same conundrum and I’m now in a position to offer all the necessary advice, tips & tricks to turn a good photo into a great photo.

This workshop will be based around Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop and will allow you to learn how to edit whilst keeping your photos looking natural.

As well as the basics, you’ll learn how to: deal with excess noise, make your subject stand out from the background, easily get rid of or minimise the look of distracting elements and many more techniques.

Before the session I will ask you to send me 5 to 10 unedited photos, and a few points on whether there’s any specific “look” you’d like for the edits.

I offer 2 options for this workshop:

1) A recorded session, where I will record myself editing your photos whilst talking you through exactly how & why I use different techniques. The video I will send you will be roughly 1 hour in duration and will be packaged with all edited photos.

2) A 1 to 1 video call, just like the recorded session however you will have the chance to ask any questions and dig deeper on any particular methods & techniques you’d like to focus on. The session will last roughly 2 hours.
